PBS highlights Mexico as a great place to spend your twilight

PBS’ popular program The News Hour, recently did a profile on the multitudes of Americans enjoying their retirement in Mexico. The country has long been a hotspot for American ex-pats, but in recent years, retirees have discovered the joys and wonders of enjoying their twilight years in Mexico.

Secretary Clinton Applauds Mexico Once Again

United States Secretary of States Hillary Clinton reinforced today the importance of cooperation between the US and Latin American Nations, particularly Mexico. She praised Mexico for its efforts in social reform, saying “ The Alliance of Youth Movements, launched in Mexico City in October with the backing of the State Department, is helping young leaders drive positive change in their own societies, starting with little more than a cell phone and an idea. “

Famed Travel Writer Michael Browne and others endorse Mexico once again

In a big vote of confidence, Michael Browne, one of the world’s most respected travel writers, penned an article titled “Good News: Mexico is Back,” urging travelers to return to the popular destination.  He references Ken Pomerantz of  MLT Vacation who lauded Mexico as restoring its rightful place as a top tourist destination at last week’s Luxury Travel Expo.

“MLT is adding Los Cabos to its menu of offerings, but good things are happening all over Mexico. Acapulco has once again become a hot destination, and we expect to see growth there in the next year as well as the addition or renovation of major resort properties. “
